Your first stop will be the Clara Maria Cheese Farm, Clog Factory, Gift Shop and Farm. Here you will have a chance to see farm animals. You may even get to pet a cow! Upon entering the shop you will view the process for making gouda cheese and wooden clogs. Entering the gift shop will give you an opportunity to sample, purchase and ship the gouda cheese and buy gifts that can be shipped home. Travel by the canals to the small town of Woudrichem and park your car in the town parking lot beside the canal. Walk into town through the arches where you will see the water marking for a previous flooding. Enjoy the cobblestone streets, arches, flower boxes and the building architecture. Notice the water fountain in the center of town which is operational.
Lunch was in the small town of Woudrichem at the Haldadig Restaurant. This is an open kitchen with comfortable seating. Beer in Holland is served in each breweries special glasses. Outside seating is also available.
Visit the operational windmill in town. There is a small beer stop under the windmill. This windmill produces flours. You also climb to the top up the narrow ladder.
Travel on the super highway to Brussels where the next adventure begins.
