- “Pearl of the Main” Walking Tour. The Medieval town of Miltenberg is right out the pages of a German fairy tale with it’s crooked houses, cobblestone street and narrow alley’s. You will see the Schnatterlock (Old Market Square) and one of the oldest inns in Germany the “Hotel Zum Reisen”.
- “Miltenberg Castle Hike” is 2 hours and 30 minutes and a level 3 difficulty. You will do a brisk walk through town and then up the surrounding hills to Miltenberg Castle. Return down along a 2,00 year Roman path. You will see the Market Square, Hauptstrasse, Old Town as well as the Miltenberg Castle.
Miltenberg has over 700 Medieval buildings. Miltenberg is famous for it’s merchants signs outside of the business. Years ago many people couldn’t read but they understood the signs. You will find the main street a great place to shop.
