This section of the river is where we picked up the swans on the river, campers with many different styles, German homes, bike trails, art work on the river bank, flower boxes on the businesses and homes, hotels and restaurants. A Gashof is a German restaurant or pub. It may also be a small hotel. A Zimmer is a German hotel or a place to bed down for the night. Of course Donau is the German word for Danube River.
