Frederiksborg Castle is a National Museum of Denmark since 1878. This castle was built by Christain IV (1588 to 1648) and was restored after the fire in 1859. Admission costs 75 DKK for an adult. The museum is open daily.
Outside has many walkways and gardens you can explore.
Inside the castle houses the Rose Room, Knights Room which was used for dining, a museum shop, the Chapel which was used as an audience room, Great Hall, and the cellars. You will find paintings and furniture from the 1700’s to the 1850’s.
