Houseboats and Watercraft
Copenhaven being a city of canals has many houseboats and all kinds of water traffic on it’s canals. Many of the boats have ladders so they can swim in the canal.
Architecture
Copenhaven is a mixture of old and new buildings. There is construction going on all over the city and canals. Please note that the colors of red, yellow, beige in the old buildings is the color of the clay at the time the building was built and not paint. The windows in both the old and new buildings have exceptional designs. Please note that all the doors and entryways into the buildings are different. Many of the old warehouses have been repurposed and modernized but have kept it’s old design. This city and canals was built for pedestrians and bikes as the major mode of transportation.
