The Admiral Hotel is located in the City Center and is a luxury 4-Star Hotel. The Admiral Hotel is an 18th Century warehouse which has been refurbished into a hotel with no two rooms alike. Hotel Rooms

No two rooms are alike at this hotel.  Your choice of rooms varies from  Single, Double, Double Deluxe, Double Deluxe with Waterview, Loft Deluxe and Tower Suites with a Waterview.  There is a Non-Smoking Policy in effect within the entire building.  You may only smoke outdoors.  The Admiral has 366 Rooms and 52 Suites.  All rooms have Cable TV and Radio, video films on demand, telephones, hair-dryer, internet with Wi Fi, 24 hour laundry service and valet service.  You must read the description of each room as some have shower or bath tub only and some have both tub and shower combined. Early mornings were spent watching the canal.  It looked like a bike practice ring was set up on the wharf.  Early one of the mornings a man came out of the small building in a bathrobe and walked to the steps and entered the canal to swim laps.   Wish I had the camera then.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Salt Outside Restaurant

Breakfast in the Admiral Hotel Dining Room

 

The Admiral Hotel has a fabulous Breakfast Buffet.  You can choose your seating.  Coffee or tea is served in pots.  There is a juice bar with all of your favorites.  There is also a bread bar equipped with toaster and toppings, fruit bar, meat and cheese station and of course an egg station.  A Danish style breakfast or an American breakfast can be had.   Stay, relax, and enjoy yourself, you can also read a newspaper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dinner at the Salt Restaurant

 

What a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday.  Danish tradition is a Danish Flag on the table to mark the celebration.  The lights are dimmed and the setting is romantic.  The wine cart is side of the table with your selection.  The wine list is very good.   This restaurant serves Danish food and provides choices between large and small dishes which gives you an opportunity to try different foods.
