One year before the 737 flight problems, we booked Norwegian Air from JFK to CPH on the Dreamliner 787 in Preimium Class. I watched my travel group sites cancel Norwegian Air Flights from smaller airports or rebook passengers onto other airlines. I kept watching to make sure my flights had no changes. On 22 August 2019 we left home with our car service for the three hour drive to JFK and the Norwegian Terminal. We were greeted with the pre-ordered wheelchair and taken through TSA to the First Class Lounge to await boarding for our flight. Our tickets were booked in Premium Class on the 787 Dreamliner. Premium Class gave us wide seats, complementary drinks, a three course Premium dinner and Premium breakfast, touch screen entertainment, seat reservation, two checked bags per person of 20 Kg each (we were travelling for 6 weeks, so I needed this), one carry-0n and personal item per person and Fast Track Service.
This proved to be one of the best plane rides we have ever taken. The seats were comfortable, the meals were very tasty, the drinks kept flowing, the service was fantastic! Upon arrival in CPH we were meet with a wheel chair and taken through customs and straight to the taxi stand. We are so happy we kept these tickets. It proved to be the perfect way to Europe.
Our Norwegian Flight on 22 August 2019 from CPH to BUD was on a much smaller plane. It was still Premium Class. The seats were very small and very cramped but the flight lasted only an hour. At the CPH Airport the wheelchair was waiting for us. Our baggage restrictions were the same as the larger plane. This flight only had a one drink service. After TSA they dropped us in a waiting lounge until it was time for our flight. We were picked up from the Waiting Lounge and transported to the plane. In BUD we were met at the door with a wheelchair and taken through Customs and directly to the street taxi stand.
We would definatley fly to Europe with Norwegian Airlines and fly on the Dreamliner.
