Specialty Restauants are available for dinner at a small additional fee. You may already have a dining package that allows you to choose 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 dinners based upon what you purchased. You may also charge dining to your key card should you decide spur of the moment. You will need a reservation for the specialty restaurants. Reservations can usually be booked before you board for your cruise. The atrium guest services has menus and a kiosk where you can book a reservation. The Observation Lounge has a kiosk and more kiosks are scattered through out the ship.
Cagney’s
Cagney’s Steakhouse is located on Deck 8 Aft and is noted for it’s Black Angus Beef and grill specialties along with some seafood. You will be lucky if you secure a window seat looking out the aft of the ship. Sunsets can be wonderful. There is also a small section located on the Waterfront Dining should you like outside seating. Some of the pictures were taken early in the morning so you can get a full view of this restaurant.
Food Republic
Food Republic is where you can order right from your table as little or as much as you want. Many dishes are small bites which allow you to keep trying different food. Food Republic is located forward on Deck 8.
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Sea
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Sea is located on Deck 17 Aft. This is a great place for lunch while out at sea. Get your Magarita’s and Nachos and chill out while you sail along. Because this ship was designed for Alaska and colder weather than the Carribean there are heaters over the tables in this restaurant. It may be cold outside but you’ll be warm under the heaters. Beware the nacho platter is huge but so good.
La Cucina Italian Restaurant
La Cucina Italian Restaurant is located on Deck 8 Midship. In front of this restaurant is The Cellars Wine Bar. You might want to stop in here first before dinner and taste some wines. La Cucina also has Waterfront seating available. This is truly a Northern Italian restaurant with exceptional dishes.
Le Bristo French Restaurant
The Le Bristo has been moved up on this ship to Deck 17. The restaurant is smaller than on other NCL ships but…. There is a bar and waiting area at the front entrance. The windows are ceiling to floor and offer wonderful ocean views. You might want to check out the wine and champagne list. The French cusisne is fabulous! It will be a hard choice to make from the menu.
Los Lobos
Los Lobos is an upscale Mexican Restaurant on Deck 8 Aft. The views out the back floor to ceiling windows are fantastic. The food is exceptional. This restaurant is also on the Waterfront for outside dining. Oh, the food just keeps coming and coming!
Ocean Blue
Ocean Blue is located on the Waterfront and has dining inside and out. This restaurant is located on Deck 8 Mid Ship. Lots of seafood is offered along with some steaks and non seafood items for the land lubbers. Seating is very comfortable with ocean views. This restaurant is very romantic.
“Q”
“Q” is a new Texas BBQ smokehouse. This restaurant is located on Deck 6 Forward. Should you choose to dine later in the evening you may catch a show on the stage. Most BBQ style foods are available.
Teppanyaki
Teppanyaki is a hibachi-style Japanese cuisine which is prepared right before your eyes. Enjoy the cooking show!
