The Haven Restaurant on the Bliss is on Deck 18 in the Haven. The Haven outside restaurant over looks the main pool on Deck 17. This section has wonderful seaviews protected by clear plastic on the outside wall and a heater above the door.
The Haven inside restaurant has many more windows and is long and narrow. There is a view from just about any table in the dining room. The Haven Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Diner. The decor is elegant with subdued lighting and warm colors. You will always be served on linen table with exquisite crystal and china. Just be cruising in the Haven and this restaurant is yours!
Meet Lilibeth Espinosa
Lilibeth is the Assistant Maitre D in the Haven Restaurant. She will take care of all your wishes and make sure you are comfortable in her dining room. She will greet you at each meal, arrange your seating, introduce you to your servers, and prepare any special events you may be celebrating.
First Day Lunch in the Haven
After boarding on the first day, seeing your cabin, looking over the Haven areas then head to the Haven Restaurant for a relaxing luncheon. Have some wine or a cocktail, read the menu, lookout at the port and watch all the activity around you. This is where you will truly start to relax.
Breakfast in the Haven Restaurant
This is a great way to start the day. The menu is extensive with eggs any way, bacon, waffles, pancakes, ham, toast, etc. Order a press pot if you prefer Ameican Style coffee, or expresso, or tea. Besides ordering anything from the menu order juices and coffee from your server. They will keep filling up beverages forever until you tell them to stop. The buffet table is against the inside wall and is self-serve for fruits, yogurt, salmon, meats, cheeses, and pastries. The food items available goes on forever. You will not leave the Haven Restaurant hungry.
Outside Haven Restaurant
The Outside Haven Restaurant is a welcome addition to Haven Dining. Your breakfast, lunch, or dinner can be served in this section of the Haven. Sea views are the best. Plan lunch or breakfast as you sail in or out of a port. Your meal will be served on linens with china and crystal just as it is inside. Your side view is of Deck 17 Pool and Slide Area. You can view all the antics without getting in the middle of the noise and commotion on the pool deck. You will truly be outside dining and have a gentle breeze as the ship sails along.
Haven Restaurant Dinner
Should you be in the land of the late setting sun the Haven Restaurant is a great place for dinner with some wonderful views. Suggest a pre-dinner cocktail while you select a good bottle of wine while you look at the dinner menu. I’m sure you will find your favoite appitizer, salad, dinner and desert. The selection ranges from shrimp, fish, steak, to chicken. Wether you are having dinner with a special someone or the family just plan on relaxing and enjoying yourself,
A Special Haven Guest
One day while having lunch in the Haven Restaurant a lady was sitting by the window all alone but she had paper dragons lined up on the table waiting for someone or something. The Haven Chef came walking out of the kitchen carrying her special lunch. After presenting her with her lunch he took the dragons. The dragons were truly beautiful. At the end of our meal we struck up a conversation with the lady.
Seems she travels in the Haven a couple of times a year all by herself. She knew the Haven Chef and she made the dragons for him and he makes her a special lunch. She also uses the dragons as an introduction to meeting people. She told us of her travels and adventures and mentioned she travels alone. She loves the Haven and has met so many wonderful passengers and staff. We enjoyed our coffee with her and when she left she gave us a dragon that she had made. Her comment was, “She didn’t give the chef all her dragons! ” Aren’t they beautiful!
