Our second trip to Virginia Wine Country brought us some old and new places. We travelled during Thanksgiving 2017 weekend. Thanksgiving Day was spent at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts to see the Terracotta Army Exhibit. An excellent Thanksgiving dinner was enjoyed in Amuse Restaurant which is inside the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Friday and Saturday nights were spent at 1804 Inn at Barboursville Winery which is one of our favorite places. A special time was at Palladio Restaurant for dinner and the Library at Barboursville Winery for special reserve wine tastings. Early Mountain Vineyards had a holiday wine tasting and crafts fair and of course Horton Wineries was a repeat for wine tasting on this trip.
Afton Mountain Winery, Veritas, and Burnley Vineyards were added on this trip along with a lunch stop at X BBQ Exchange.
