Clubs

Children are pre-registered for their age specific club houses.  Club House Admission is added to the childs band which also has all the parents information on it and parents have a beeper.

A Small World Nursery

A Small World Nursery on Deck 5 is a pay for babysitting in a room designed with cribs, walkers, changing tables, etc.  Everything a small baby to an almost 3 year old could want or desire.  The staff is very attentive to the babies and small children in their care.  This will allow the parents to get a spa service, swim in the Quiet Pool, eat in Remy or Palo or go for cocktails.  Never worry, you are a beeper away.

Oceaneer’s Club

The Oceaneer’s Club is designed for 3 to 5 year olds.  Your children will be having playtimes with Mickey, Pluto’s PJ Party, Toy Story Boot Camp and Jedi Training sessions as well as playing with all the children in the club house.  The club house is full staffed with Disney Staff.  Only the assigned person on the wrist band can put the child in the club or take the child out.  If there is any problem or your child wants to see you the staff will beep you.  The children very rarely want to leave the club house as they are having so much fun.

Oceaneer’s Lab

The Oceaneer’s Lab is for 6 to 12 year olds.  The Oceaneer’s Lab has lots of free time so the children can explore all the computers, labs, etc.  There are also specific events such as Super Sloppy Science, Anyone Can Cook, Piston Cup or Stitch’s Adventure.  You will be checking children in and out much as the Oceaneer’s Club.

Edge

Edge is a club for 11 to 14 year olds.  If your child is 11 or 12 he or she can use both clubs.  A series of activities are provided through out the cruise, they can join the Improv Show should they want to be on stage.  They will go to the movies, swimming, etc. with the Disney Staff.

Vibe

Vibe is a club for 14 to 17 year olds.  There is a pool in their area, music, computers, relaxing stations, and group activities.  Best of all NO ADULTS allowed.  This club is for them.

Things to Do

Buena Vista Theatre

The Dream has a feature movie theatre.  First run movies are played all day and into the evening.  Check your daily Navigator for what is playing when.  They even sell popcorn and candy for the movie.  You never have to leave the ship.  Disney usually releases it’s new movies on the ship before they release the film to the theatres back home.

Daily Events

Movie Trivia, lectures, family crafts, sports trivia, craft corner, brainteasers trivia, sports on fun deck, cartoons at the Goofy pool, bingo, shuffleboard, family dance party, walking for distance, pool games, and the list goes on and on.

Character Greets

This is a great way for the children to meet and greet their favorite Disney characters.  The location and times the characters appear are on your daily Navagator.  You might also pre-sign up for greeting much like a Fast Pass.

Swimming Pools

The pool deck has a play area for small children for water fun and the goofy swimming pool.  Above the goofy swimming pool the outdoor screen shows cartoons and Disney movies all day long and into the evening.  The children love the water slides.  Don’t worry there are plenty of seat and you can sit and watch your children have fun.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Should you have a princess in your party be sure to get an appointment athe Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique so she is all ready to meet the Disney Princesses, go to dinner, and have lots of pictures taken.

Ports of Call

The Disney Dream sails into Disney’s Island Cast-a-way Cay for a day of adventure, swimming, playing, and just plain enjoying the beautiful beach.  The ship then sails for Nassau in the Bahamas.  If you look at Ports of Call on my website you will see a write-up on both places.

Entertainment

Each night before or after dinner depending on your assigned dining time the Walt Disney Theatre has a live show for everyone.   See the Golden Mickey’s, Newsies, meet your crew, maybe see a magician, or hear some great music.  These shows are designed for all ages.  There is something for everyone.
