Hop-On-Hop-Off-Bus
Tickets maybe purchased ahead via the internet or in many hotels, or at City Center. One day pass is 26.1 Euros, 2 Day is 35.1 Euros. Prices vary from season to season so check the website. Website is www.barcelona-city-tour.com or www.hop-on-hop-off-bus.com/barcelona. There are basically two routes the East/Red Route or West/Green Routes. Red Route has 17 stops and the Green Route has 15 stops. The Triple Decker Busses run from 9:00 AM to around 7:00PM depending on the season. There is a bus every 20 minutes. Your ticket is good on either bus. You may Hop-on and Hop-off all day long and stop and see the sights you want to see and board the bus later. There are audio tapes with head sets provided in multi languages. English is one of them. Some of the sights you will pass by are Le Pedera, Casa Batello, Placa Catallunga, Arcade, Zoo, Park Guell, Sagruda La Familia, Music Center, Port Olymic and Port Vell. If it is your first time in Barcelona ride the route at least once and decide on the second swing which sights you want to explore. If you only have one day ride both routes at least once to get a flavor of the marvelous city.
