This opens at 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM daily and then reopens at 7:00PM to 9:00 PM for guided tours. Admission may be purchased on line with the skip the queue feature. An Adult Daily is 26.00 Euros and a Premium Daily (which is skip the line) is 29.00 Euros. During the day tour includes an audio tape in English. During the night hours the tour is guided and is a separate admission unless you have purchased the Day and Night Admission Ticket for 41.00 Euros. There is a wonderful museum shop at the end of the tour.
La Pedrera was built between 1906 – and 1912 by Antoni Gaudi in the Art Nouveau Period. Upon entering this collection of apartments you will be in a cylindar shaped atrium. Look up and enjoy the view and design of this interior atrium. Take the elevator to the top. Explore the attic which has models displayed of the building contruction. Go out on the roof and see the park and gardens he built. You can really enjoy the views of the city from here. It is a very playful and colorful area. Then start down to view the apartments which are open and hold furniture and designs from the period. Don’t forget to shop in the museum gift shop on your way out.
