New York City

New York City though the years is an exciting place to sail in and out of for any cruises.  The pictures span a number of years and it is fun to see the city from the water.

The day before we sailed to Canada on the Magic the Nasa Space Shuttle was taken up the river to be placed in it’s permanent home on the USS Intripid.  We caught some great pictures of the shuttle before they covered it over with a no see though bubble.  When we sailed back from Canada the bubble was already over the shuttle.

Please note if you have never sailed into New York Harbor in the early morning hours it is a sight to behold.  The night before you dock in NYC the Captian will announce what time the ship should be entering New York Harbor.  Get a cup of coffee and a great viewing spot on deck.  You can sleep when you get home.
