Shows in the Walt Disney Theater
Every evening either before or after your rotational dining the Walt Disney Theater will fill for a show for all ages. The main shows are Broadway Style and very professional. Shows are to be enjoyed by all ages. Even babies and grandmothers enjoy Disney Shows. Never mind the children. Depending upon how many nights your cruise is for will be how many shows you will see besides the Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story and Disney Dreams- An Enchanted Classic. Special Shows
On longer sailings Disney has extra shows and the Transatlantic the did a special on American Idol.
Don “Ducky” Williams Lectures and Lithograph Signings
For those of you not familiar with Don he is one of the original animators for Walt Disney Studios. On each Transatlantic he gave lectures on his characters and what it was like working for the studios. In each lecture he would draw characters he had designed for Disney and would raffle off the drawing to the audience as a signed drawing. Among his many character was “Remy”. Every cabin got a lithograph of Remy and Don signed each lithograph personally. It was such a magical event.
Parties
On every sailing Disney Cruise has a Pirate’s Party. The party starts at dinner. Everyone has a pirate bandana and is getting ready for the big party on the pool deck. A special buffet is set up on the pool deck for the Pirate Show and fireworks are shot off the deck as the finale to the Pirate Show.
Sail – A- Way Party
Every cruise has a big Sail – A – Party on the pool deck. It is a great send off for the start of your cruise.
Character Greetings
Greeting Disney Characters is much easier on the cruise ship. Times are posted for which characters will appear when. Characters sometimes walk around the ship at random and of course they are fully visable in the shows.
Buena Vista Theater
Buena Vista Theater shows first run Disney Movies all day and into the night long. Sometimes they even have shows which have not been shown in the movie theaters yet.
