Outside the Magic

When Disney built it’s first ship the Magic it was designed to reflect a look and feel of the 1930’s elegant ships.  The Magic has classic designs while providing modern convienices and innovated ideas.  From afar the ship looks long and sleek with it’s colorful stacks, large and numerous portholes providing inside views to the ocean.  Note that nothing but the best materials were used on the ship both inside and out.

Disney designed the space on this ship to be children friendly as well as adult friendly.  Special designs were added to most cabins of split bathrooms where you have two bathrooms.  One with a sink, toilet and dressing area.  The other with a tub/shower and a dressing area.  Two people can get ready at once.  This ship has multiple cabins for families of 4 or more.

Designs also included rotating restaurants, different clubs for different ages of children and of course the adult only area.  There is something for everyone.

Public Port Holes

It seems everywhere you go on ship has huge beautiful port holes.  They are big enough to crawl up into and read a book or take a nap while viewing the sea.  The restaurants and bars have port holes where you can have a meal or order a drink or just plain sit and relax enjoying the sea.

Cabin Doors

You will learn on your first Disney Cruise that decorating the metal cabin door is a tradition.  Passengers buy magnets of ports of call, disney characters, and many make special magnets.  Fish Extenders are also located on many a cabin door.  Take a walk through all the ships corridors and view the doors.  Our cabin door has grown after 8 cruises.
