More Living Room
When not using your television leave it on showing the bridge’s view of where the ship was going. Your room charges will also be displayed on your television so you can check your bill. Any discrepancies just see the Concierge. Movies and some regular stations were also available. The suite also had a DVD player and your butler will give you a list of available movies.
Second Bedroom
We did use the binoculars the night we were in Nassau docked next to the Silver Sea, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean ships. It is amazing what you can see looking at the other ships.
Master Bedroom
This cabin has a couch which is turned into a bed, a television on the wall, floor length mirror, end tables with spot reading lights, five corner shelves for storage and wooden hangers in the closet. Off this section was the second bathroom with a walk in shower with all the soaps hanging from a dispenser, a sink, and a toilet. The second bedroom section would be perfect for two children travelling with their parents. It is very cozy and has a warm feeling.
The Master Bedroom has a king size bed with multiple pillows which you can order from the conciege before you sail and will be in your suite when you arrive. The tall mirror in the corner of the room lines up perfectly with the vanity. It is possible to view the back side of your hair by using both mirrors. There are reading lamps with reading spots on the end tables. The end tables have draws and provide storage. The vanity has a sit down chair, large mirror, make up mirror, hair dryer, with side table storage with deep draws. This section provide wall shelves with railings. The master bedroom has double closet for his and her. The wall safe is located in the right hand closet along with an umbrella, robes and slippers. The closets also have plenty of wooden hangers and flat storage space. To the right of the master bedroom is “THE BATHROOM”.
Enter into the bathroom and you may never want to leave or you might want to take it home. Fat chance on that, you will only have the length of your cruise to enjoy it. The left wall has two double sinks with plenty of counter space for your things. Provided by Elemis are bath soaps, shampoo, bath and shower gel, bath salts, conditioner, hand cream, and a shower cap.
Next, is the bath tub built with counter top space surrounding the tub. This is where I sat in the with my glass of wine and looked out the tinted huge window as I enjoyed the world sailing by. The shower which is walk in is large enough for two people. Of course there is also a large tinted window in the shower for viewing outside but not inside. There are hand held bars for holding on just incase. The main shower head is a rain shower with lots of side jets and a hand held spray hose is available. This is where you can enjoy that half hour hot shower…. The shower has glass doors and towel racks on the door and side panel. The toilet has its own little room with a door.
Side of the master bath entrance door is a floor to ceiling area of shelves with a fall out bar in front of each shelf. It will hold all you medicines, bath products, etc.
The bathroom is packed with lots and lots of towels in all shapes and sizes. You will never want for a large dry towel. Special beach towels are provided for removal to a beach for your use.
Besides keeping our suite clean our steward made us all kinds of towel animals and we kept the collection all week on display. I loved the penguin the most.
The lighting in the entire cabin provided bright lights, indirect lighting, and spot lights. There was a light just about anywhere that you may want a light.
The butler was there at all times for us. He even showed us how to keep the power on in the suite when we left our suite. Every day we had sweets, sandwiches, candy, and other snacks delivered to our cabin. I didn’t have enough time with only a week to even order room service but I know he would have been happy to do that for us. You could sail all week and never leave the suite and have a wonderful cruise.
Last Day Sail In To NYC
Besides a spectacular Sail Out we also had a sad but great Sail In to NYC starting around 4:30 AM. This suite is perfect for those special pictures.
Bottom line is we not sailing again without being in a Haven suite. The Haven makes the entire cruise become a perfect sailing.
