There is a parking lot at the bottom of the hill and you will need to walk up the path to the ticket office, restaurant, and small gift shop. From here enjoy the outside of the buildings which make up the castle.
In inside of the castle is a gift shop, snack bar, Royal Apartments which were re-created after the fire of 1629, long ballroom, castle kitchen, cannon tower and the chapel. Many tapastries adorn the walls.
From the castle you will have a view of the sound and Sweeden and understand how the Danish Kings could collect tolls from ships passing through.
