NCL BLISS Observation Lounge

The NCL BLISS Obervation Lounge is PERFECTION!

The Observation Lounge is located on Deck 15 Forward and is approximately one third of Deck 15.  The entrance is near the elevator banks.  This lounge has warm brown and beige tones with a splash of blues.  The walk through area is a wooden floor and curves around the lounge.  The windows are floor to ceiling with 180 degree views.   It is modern, warm, comfortable, built for viewing Alaskan glaciers, whales, birds, or the warm Carribean waters.

Should you walk into the  left side of the elevator banks and enter the Observation Lounge you will be  greeted by a ships model that is very realistic.  You can spend a long time checking the ship’s  model out.  There is also a restaurant Kiosk at the entrance should you need to make any reservations.  Oh and don’t forget the handwashing station.

Inside the Observation Lounge you will find comfortable chairs, couches epuipped with pillows, game tables, coffee tables, and modern indirect lighting.  The furniture is positioned into group sitting areas for your comfort.  You will be able to see all the outside activity though the windows. You will able to find just the right spot for you.  I’m sure this will become you room away from home for comfort and relaxation.

In the center of the area are complimentary food and drink stations.  An early morning breakfast is available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM most days.  Get some coffee, tea, pastry, fruits, cereal. etc.  Then find a table that is right for you.  The service station will change around 11:30 for some lunch selections.   There are also rest rooms available in the lounge area.

Walk to the front of the lounge and you will find the circle shaped cocktail bar positioned on a raised floor so you can view what’s in front of the ship over people sitting at the extreme forward windows.  Of course you friendly servers are always walking the entire floor and will be glad to get you any cocktail or soda you would like.

Note:  The pictures were taken early in the day.  Also please note we hit pea-soup fog a couple a days before arriving in Halifax which was when these pictures were taken so your not seeing the fantastic views from the windows.  I think I know what the Titantic hit in April that year.  The fog in April is heavy.  Of course the Bliss has all the radar and equipment to travel easily though the fog.
