Worldwide Ports of Call
An advantage to taking a cruise gives you the ability to unpack your suitcase once and travel around the world. A stop in ports allows you the ability to take in the sights, sample the food and drink, meet the people, shop til you drop, and enjoy your stay with no worries. Should you find a place you really love and should you decide you want to see more you can always come back on a land vacation for a few days or a week. Ports of Call are also the starting or ending points of cruises. It is always wise to fly in at least a day in advance, stay in a hotel and rest so your ready for the start of your cruise. The same holds true on your way off the cruise. There is nothing like a good nights sleep and a good meal before you take a plane ride.
Some Ports of Call have so many activities and places to see that you might want to book a pre or post stay which will allow you see more of the Port. New York City is a prime example of this. The Hop On Hop Off Bus is available, lots of hotels, restaurants, museums, Broadway plays, etc. The list goes on forever.
In Port Canaveral you can book any number of nights before or after your cruise at Disney World or Universal Studios where there is so much to see and do.
