St. Kitts
St. Kitts is a Brittish island. You can take a tour, or step right off the ship, the head to a shop, find a bar, or go to restaurant. The island gauge train tour, will take you thru the old sugar plantations, and around most of the island. You will see the rough shore line, ruined sugar mills, and lots of goats roaming the area. The villagers will stop what they are doing and wave to you. On our trip, a group of school girls joined us for a small concert. Sweets are the order of the day, and You will be offered rum and sugar candy. The views are the best! If you only have one day in St. Kitts take the train tour. On a clear day you can see Nevis, Sabra and St. Martin off in the distance…..but be prepared for sudden changes in weather.
