Gibralter is at the entrance between the Medertarean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Gibralter is across the straight from Morrocco.  Tours can be taken from here into Morrocco just across the straight, into Spain, or tour the Rock and Gibralter itself.

Rock of Gibralter

There are a number of ways to reach the Rock of Gibralter.  There is a cable car to the top and then a hike down the trail which takes about 20 minutes.  You can hike up and down the rock or take a car tour which drives you up the rock and down the rock with plenty of stops which will leave you in Irish Town.  The views from the rock and out to sea are beautiful.  As a side note, the Rock of Gibralter is the rock used in the Prudential Insurance advertisements.
