MJ Sails on the Magic
MJ was all excited to find out that he was going on his first ocean cruise with Mom and Dad. He spent time packing his kilt (for formal night), his bathrobe for after his showers, and a warm sweat shirt to keep warm with on the Transatlantic crossing. Toddy was too little for this trip so he was left at home with a sitter.
Flying into Orlando the Disney Bus took him to Port Carnaveral where he boarded the ship and his adventure was about to begin. He unpacked and explored the cabin. He read his Navigator and got ready for the rest of the days events. The cabin was so comfortable and MJ felt like this was home and he was prepared for the adventure of sailing out to sea across the Atlantic. He had never been on a cruise ship or seen the ocean but he knew he was going to love it.
Finnally they are ready and MJ is going to explore the ship. It’s off to the shops for some shopping and then the arcade. MJ loves the arcade! That afternoon was the art auction and MJ attended.
After a good nights sleep MJ awoke to find the sun shining. Oh, boy it’s time for the pool deck. When he arrived it was a little chilly so he started the day wearing his sweat shirt. Before lunch it had warmed up and time was spent exploring and relaxing on the deck. Mom got hungry so she ordered him his first beer and hamburger which MJ enjoyed while watching cartoons on the pool screen. Later they got pizza on deck. What a wonderful day!
Formal Night arrived and I had to take a shower and get ready for the main event. I wore my kilt, had pictures taken with Mom and Dad and got to order from the menu.
MJ stopped at Castaway Cay and mailed a postcard he’d written to his friend and then spent some time with all the towel animals he met while on the ship. It was a wonderful first cruise and MJ couldn’t wait for the next cruise.
